Michael Haviland serves as an Associate In-house counsel for Velocity Venture Partners. Prior to joining the firm in March 2021, Michael practiced at Earp Cohn P.C. During his time there, he represented clients in private real estate investment groups, publicly traded companies, and small business start-ups. While in private practice, Michael handled sophisticated transactional work which included acquisitions & sales of real estate investment properties, ground-up development negotiations & sales, land use and financial counseling.

Jake serves as an Associate In-house counsel for Velocity Venture Partners. He has extensive transactional experience in various areas of commercial real estate – including high-value loans/assumptions, purchases/sales, leasing and a variety of other loan- and real property-related matters. Jake is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and California.

Bria recently joined Velocity in the Fall of 2023. She is a graduate of Delaware Valley University where she earned both her bachelor’s in accounting and her MBA.  Prior to joining us, she was a Property Accountant with Workspace Property Trust and BrightView Landscape. Her role at Velocity will be to oversee the lease documentation process, entering leases into Yardi, drafting commencement memos, and working with outside brokers on commission agreements/invoices.
