Zach Moore
Founding Partner
A native of Montgomery County Pennsylvania, Zach leads the firm’s efforts in Southeastern Pennsylvania and is actively involved in all facets of Velocity Ventures – including the acquisition, disposition, and management of the firm’s broader portfolio of assets. Prior to the founding of Velocity Ventures, Zach worked at Goldman, Sachs, & Co. in the firm's Investment Management Division on a team managing $5b in client assets. Zach graduated Summa Cum Laude from Drexel University receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Tony Grelli
Founding Partner
Tony is a native of Gloucester County, New Jersey and heads up Velocity’s efforts in the Southern New Jersey Market. He is also actively involved in the acquisition, disposition & management of Velocity’s broader portfolio of assets. Prior to founding Velocity, Tony worked on the investment team of Susquehanna Growth Equity – where he invested in software entrepreneurs across North America, UK & Europe. Tony graduated with a dual degree in Finance & Economics from Drexel University’s Lebow College of Business.
Daniel J. Dougherty
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Dan brings over 30 years of impactful leadership and experience, including nearly twenty years as a CFO in the real estate industry, to Velocity Venture Partners and its investors. He has a substantial depth and breadth of experience across multiple real estate asset classes and markets, creating value through optimal transaction and financing structuring, along with strong operational asset management and financial reporting.
Dan has led numerous complex business transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, debt and equity recapitalizations, restructurings, and private equity investments. He uses his strengths in capital generation, accounting and reporting, operations, and deal strategy to help create sustainable value for Velocity and its investing partners.
John Fiore Jr.
Senior Vice President
John joined Velocity in August 2021 bringing over 20 years of experience in property management, construction, and development. John began his commercial real estate career with the Kravco Company as the Facility Manager at King of Prussia Mall followed by positions with Kramont Realty Trust (Brixmor), Preferred Real Estate Investments, The Wolfson Group and Milex Construction. Over the last 20 years, he has managed over 10,400,000 square feet of retail, office and industrial real estate throughout PA, NJ, NY and MA encompassing over 400 tenants including Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, Marshalls, Ross, TJMAXX, Chick-Fil-A and Wawa. During his career he has managed and delivered over $115,000,000 in commercial related construction projects from ground up shopping center developments to turnkey tenant improvement projects totaling over 2,400,000 square feet.
John has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality Management from Widener University and is currently a member of Building Owners and Managers Association International (BOMA).
